CSACS Annual Meeting: May 9
On behalf of the Education & Colloquia Committee, you are cordially invited to the CSACS 11th Annual Meeting which will take place at the McGill
SSMU Hall on Thursday, May 9. Our Annual Meetings are well attended by over 200 graduate students and faculty members and will include an extended poster
session to maximize interaction among members and guests. This year we are very pleased to have Christopher Bielawski (U. of Texas), Joseph Hupp (Northwestern U.),
Chris Barrett (McGill) among confirmed speakers.

2012 CSACS Best Paper Award
The competition for the best CSACS paper is back. We invite our students and members to submit their best article of the year 2012. Nominate your article and
be among the 5 exceptional discoveries of the year 2012. The award will consist of a plaque and a lunch will be paid to authors. In addition to this
the winning paper will be nominated for the "Étudiants-chercheurs étoiles" award, a value of $1,000.

We have budgeted for 2 students per yr.
Provides scholarship funding for graduate students working on CSACS interuniversity collaborations.
To apply, please have the student send in a C.V., a transcript and a 1-2 page description of the proposed research.
